About Me
Matúwe he? Who am I?

Nacole Walker emáčiyapi. Pȟabáksa Dakȟóta na Húŋkpapȟa Lakȟóta wiŋmáyaŋ. Íŋyaŋ Woslál Háŋ emátahaŋ. D/Lakȟótiyapi uŋspémič’ičhiyiŋ na uŋspéwičhawakhiye. My name is Nacole Walker. I am Dakota and Lakota from Standing Rock. I am a learner and teacher of the D/Lakota language.
Since I was a child I've always loved stickers and as an adult I still like using them when possible. Unfortunately, there were never any Dakota/Lakota language or appropriate indigenous themed stickers readily available. Seeing this need, I decided I would do my best to create and provide the stickers that I always wish I had!
While designing stickers, I work closely with my sister, Shauna Elk (an amazing artist), to incorporate appropriate Dakota/Lakota imagery. I use my knowledge of the D/Lakota language to customize the stickers into my community's dialects.
Moving forward, I would love to collaborate with more local Standing Rock artists, Dakota/Lakota artists from other communities, and other indigenous peoples.
